Practical rifle matches are usually limited to .30 caliber with a speed limit of 3150 fps. 338 LM is still used a little bit in ELR matches but I don't think an RPR or Vortex Viper is going to cut the mustard.While it is also available in 300 Win Mag, my recommendation is the 338, since they weigh the same.
