HughesNet System Control Center. netfix needs at least .5 mbps minimum to operate on low setting. i already knew my wi-fi was as good as hardline due to a previous test in the begining.11-27-2018 09:42 PM. So I'm unable to access the internet at all. No dns lookup, can't ping anything. I can get to the router setup, but not system control center. I've tried setting the dns to Google's, and setting it to get from ISP. Nothing works. At least nothing beyond the router works. I've power cycled, and rebooted in the router setup.My email/main login was working fine last friday (9/27)morning, but havent been able to access it since, system claims password is incorrect. I called hughesnet Monday 9/30 (didnt attempt over the weekend to avoid being connected to an overseas call center) to report the outage. I called 9/30, HN (Frank) asked for 48 hours, not working after 48 ...We only have 1 option - the ethernet connection option (we don't connect online via wifi, just via ethernet cable). Anyway, since we're online now, we'll just wait and see what happens after the other ISP expires. Thanks!.
