I just ordered this about an hour ago, supposedly the same as a Sig Mosquito just branded with their GSG label instead of Sig's. It was $179.99 shipped to my ffl. The GSG 1911-22 has a light weight slide (zinc, I think) this is much softer than the steel slide STOP. If you use the slide STOP lever to release the slide, it will cause excessive wear on the slide. By using the "slingshot" method to release the slide, you all but eliminate this problem. The lever is a slide STOP, not a slide release.Unfortunately, Taylor does not list the firing pin as one of their parts offered. Looks like my options are; 1. put the Firefly into the safe and let it collect dust, 2. find a gunsmith to fabricate a firing pin, or 3. toss the Firefly into the St. Johns river.
