Press and hold, while at the home position, to enter night light setting mode. Cycle. Press and release the Cycle button to start a clean cycle. If already cycling, press Cycle to pause; press again to resume a cycle.The robot is away from walls and perfectly level. There is nothing under the robot. It's filled to the line with normal clumping cat litter. I've tested with an empty drawer and full drawer, it makes no difference. If I reset the light back to blue and have it cycle, it stops mid-cycle, returns to original position, and red/blue appears again.Litter-Robot 3: Cat sensor troubleshooting. The Litter-Robot 3 is equipped with a cat sensor that detects when a cat enters and exits the globe. When a cat enters the globe, the cat sensor is activated; the blue light turns off and the red light turns on. Test the cat sensor by pressing the top of the entryway (not the bonnet) down and away, toward the back of the unit. You should be able to feel a slight spring/bounce movement - this is a good sign that the robot can freely move and that there are no obstructions to prevent the cat sensor from functioning. .
