Not sure why you would want to do that. You may wish to spend some time with the Bergara barrel before you take on that endeavor. The IBI barrels are fantastic and the Bergara Barrels can be the same way. Shoot it for a while and try different ammunition and find what it likes first. BUT I always end up grabbing one of my "custom" assembled rifles over it. I often use the Bergara as a loner/backup for teaching, training, or hunting. A great rifle for someone who wants turnkey.
