Mar 26, 2024 · I have a APC LS 700 and the thing is beeping every minute indicating battery needs replacement. According to the manual the thing should only beep once every 5 hours if battery replacement is needed. It is only 2 years old and I would like to disable this annoying sound until I can find a place that sells batteries. As you have found, the 4 beeps every 30 seconds does indicate on battery and checking the surge only outlets was a great way to test that.
